Northern Lights Wilderness Adventure
Day 1
Flight arrival. Transfer to the village guesthouse.
Day 2
Introductory cross-country ski tour - Making our own tracks in untouched snow, the winter landscape is open for discovery.
On the way back, we will stop in a village where we will take part in the life of a Sámi reindeer herder.
Day 3
Cross-country ski to our scenic wilderness cabin in the forest by a lake. This is a true wilderness experience in an ideal location for viewing the Northern Lights. The area is completely private; just you, awesome nature and utter silence. Your guide will help you fire the sauna and make sure you are comfortable before leaving you for the night.
Day 4
With your guide you will traverse by ski or snowshoe through ancient forests blanketed in snow, and along the frozen rivers. These areas are rich in wildlife and with some luck we will stumble across a herd of reindeer or spot an Elk. In the evening, the warmth of the sauna will soothe your tired muscles.
Day 5
Enjoy the wilderness camp and make a ski or snowshoe tour on your own. In the afternoon, your guide returns and together you can try your hand at ice-fishing or build a snow cave.
Day 6
Cross-country ski towards the village guesthouse. Relax in the modern comforts of our peaceful guesthouse.
Day 7
Dog sled tour. The dogs are eager to start running; once on your way you will enjoy pure silence and exhilaration.
Day 8
Morning transfer to Kiruna/Kittila.

- For the first and last two nights you will stay at our guesthouse, well off the beaten tourist track. This beautiful and comfortable home was originally a vicarage. The house is located in a small village without strong light pollution and it is easy to walk to areas with no artificial lights at all. For the middle three nights you will stay at our wilderness cabin, a simple, but pleasant and cosy accommodation located by a lake and surrounded by vast forests and wetlands. This experience will definitely deepen your connection to nature.
