Getting there

Located 3 hours on rough roads from the Pan American Highway, Black Sheep Inn is in a perfect location to see the real Andean Highlands. The guesthouse is perched on a hillside at 10,500 feet above sea level overlooking the Rio Toachi Canyon system and less than 5 km from Laguna Quilotoa.

• By Road Local buses to rural locations such as Chugchilán are a great experience. For just $2.50 you can share the 4 hour ride with friendly campesinos, chickens, pigs and sheep. Dirt and cobbled roads through gorgeous scenery make for a breathtaking ride!
  
  Not quite up for the bus ride? We can help you locate a ride from Quito in a private jeep for $100. This way you have the freedom to stop for photographs and breathe the clean mountain air while stretching your legs. Remember, it is about a 4 hour drive on rough roads through spectacular scenery.

  Two Daily Buses depart from Latacunga Bus Station to the Black Sheep Inn.
• By Rail There is rail service between Quito and Latacunga and onto Riobamba, but not to Chugchilan.
• By Air Ecuador's International Airport is in it's capitol city Quito; five hours by bus from Chugchilan and the Black Sheep Inn.
