- EcoCamp's Suite Domes
The 28mt2/ 300 ft2 tented igloo-type double domes with private bathrooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There will be two single beds (1.2 x 2m beds) or a king size bed (1.9x 2m), and a modern low-emission wood stove that keeps the dome warm. Bathrooms are well equipped and towels are available. For sustainable purposes you will keep the same towels and blankets during your stay. Additionally, as the Suite Domes are powered with solar panel generators, there’s no electric capacity to plug in devices such as hair dryers, electric shavers, etc. Nevertheless, camera batteries can be charged in other facilities at EcoCamp. The Suite Dome are nicely decorated with natural fibers and other local, cultural elements.
EcoCamp’s Standard Domes
Our cozy standard domes have a 4m/12ft diameter vitrified wooden floor and a height of 2.1m/7ft, allowing two people to sleep and stand comfortably inside. They’re resistant to the strongest Patagonian winds, rains, and snow, and come equipped with two single beds (doubles on request), fleece sheets, blankets, feather quilts and organic decoration. They have a panoramic window and are coated with white canvas, allowing plenty of sunlight to enter, and a thick insulation cushion to minimize the exchange of temperature. There are round windows in the ceiling through which you can observe the stars before falling asleep. EcoCamp’s standard domes offer shared bathrooms, which aid our environmental initiative by collecting waste in a central heated composting chamber and allowing more control of water consumption and heating. - Rooms: Single, Double, Family, Triple, Dorm/Shared, Tea & coffee facilities, Towels provided, Some with balcony, Some ensuite
