Get your teenagers active and engaged with this mountain activity week in the Pyrenees. A high ropes course, white water rafting, canyoning, via ferrata with zip line and Nepalese bridge plus a full day of guided walking. This week is full of adventure and challenges. Price includes all 5 activites for four people but if you don't do it we deduct it from the price.

Stay in an traditional apartment in the historic centre of Luz (1465€ all included for 4P), or in the Hotel Les Templiers (2375€ all included in two rooms half board).

We also provide a full information pack with all the things to see and do around Luz St Sauveur and in the surrounding valleys.

This is a great family activity adventure holiday and a superb way to introduce your teenagers to the mountains.

Other activities to choose from include mountain biking, horse riding, paragliding, bungee jumping and more walking.

Don't Miss

The "Grand Sites of Midi-Pyrenees" video (www.grandsites.midipyrenees.fr) is a great intro to our region. Four "Grand Sites" are close to us (Lourdes, Gavarnie, Pont d'Espage and Pic du Midi).

Getting there

The Hotel les Templiers where you are based is in the historic centre of Luz St Sauveur. You are within easy walking distance of the shops and bars but as the village is small you can also be quickly out the door and up the mountain on one of the surrounding paths.

By Road There are only two roads into the valley - either from Lourdes or up and over the Col du Tourmalet. The Tourmalet pass generally opens in the first week of June, and closes after the first snow, generally sometime in October. Check our blog, or directly with us, to find out if it is open when you are coming through.
By Rail :) The best way to get here. Catch the train to Lourdes and there is then an SNCF bus connecting Lourdes with the Tourist Office in Luz (55 mins). We are 3 minutes walk from the tourist office.
By Air Ryan Air :( flies to Pau in summer. Also to Biaritz and Carcassonne. Toulouse airport is well served by quite a number of carriers and there is a shuttle bus into the Toulouse train station (Matabiau) from where you can catch a train to Lourdes and then SNCF bus to Luz.
By Sea Ferry to Santander in Spain from Plymouth or Portsmouth seems the best option by sea. Then choose a way to drive around or over the Pyrenees.

Other Insider Info.

We are fans of the night train from Paris. Austerlitz station is well set up as all the night trains leave from there. You can leave at 7pm from London and be in Luz by 9am the next day. And you get two extra days on your holiday. When you arrive you can leave your bags in the hotel lounge until your room is available.
