Autumn Munros - a guided walking holiday in Scotland

Arrive: Fraoch Lodge the day before the guided walking holiday starts.

Day 1:The Pass of Ryvoan with its woodland and aquamarine lochan is a jewel in the Cairngorm crown. This is our approach to the distinctive pyramid of Bynack Mor.

Day 2: Mullach Clach a' Bhlair provides us with one of autumns delights - a trip up and above beautiful Glen Feshie to the wonderful autumn colours of the high tundra.

Day 3: We enter the realm of the Blue Hare, Golden Eagle and Red Deer to ascend A’ Chailleach and Carn Sgulain in the vast high expanse of the Monadh Liath.

Day 4: This is a day off for all of us from breakfast onwards - a chance for you to explore on your own. We top the day off with a fantastic meal out at our local restaurant, Anderson's, a few doors up the road.

Day 5: Creag Meagaidh's Coire Ardair provides a rival to the greatest of Britain's cliff scenery. Towering rock buttresses divided by deep gullies dwarf every thing in their presence.

Day 6: Geal-charn and A’Mharconaich above Drumocter form an easier yet very enjoyable guided walking circuit - all around peaks rise to catch one's attention and far below the huge trench harbouring Loch Ericht.

Depart: the next day after breakfast.
