Montecristo River Lodge is a jungle eco lodge located inside Reserva Silvestre Privada Montecristo, a 120 plus acres of protected rain forest, primary jungle, in the San Juan River, Nicaragua.
In the jungle eco lodge reserve we do horse back riding, hiking and fishing from the river bank.
Canoes and kayak trip are planed according to our guest desire, either a tour up river into a smaller calm afluent of the San Juan river or a trip down the main river.
Sport fishing for tarpon could be arranged if desired at aditional cost.
From our jungle eco lodge, we could do trips to el Castillo, the Indio Maiz national Reserve or the Solentiname island.
