Trekking holidays - the Pyrenean Haute Route (HRP)

Discover the wildest and most remote parts of the Pyrenees, on a challenging hut-to-hut trek criss-crossing between France and Spain along the spine of this spectacular mountain range.

Our holidays are led by qualified International Mountain Leaders, who live and work in France year round and are experts on the Pyrenean flora & fauna, geology, geography, history, language and culture.

Accommodation is at high mountain refuges, where all meals and sleeping materials are provided, so there is no need to carry a huge rucksack.

We have small groups (8 people or less), so our trips are sociable, but you won't get lost in a noisy coach party! The HRP is a tough long-distance trek, suitable for people with previous mountain walking experience, a good level of fitness and a head for heights.
