Discover the untouched Winter mountains on a guided ski touring holiday in the beautiful Pyrenees.
Learn the techniques of ski touring and get away from the crowds onto untracked snow. The Pyrenees are totally unspoiled in comparison to the Alps, and there is a vast wilderness to explore in the Pyrenees National Park and the Neouvielle Nature Reserve - the Pyrenean lake district.
A week's ski touring holiday will include instruction on skinning and off piste ski technique around the ski resort, followed by several beautiful day tours. The trip culminates in a two- or three-day hut-to-hut tour, staying out in the high mountains at manned refuges.
Our holidays are led by a qualified UIAGM high mountain guide and ski instructor, with a lifetime of experience working in the mountains.
Accommodation is at our own lovely 3* guesthouse, with spacious en-suite bedrooms and delicious local cuisine.
We have small groups (8 people or less), so our trips are very sociable, but you won't get lost in a noisy coach party! Ski touring trips are suitable for experienced downhill skiers looking for a new challenge away from the ski lifts.
