This challenging and beautiful trek to Ancient Petra takes us through spectacular desert, wadis, jagged mountains rising to 1400m, and to ancient sites of the Middle East.
Our trek to Ancient Petra begins along traditional trails of the Bedouin to the ancient and stunning capital of the Nabateans, or Petra as we know it today. With its huge rock-hewn tombs and buildings set amongst strange red sandstone formations and spectacular desert, it is a truly unique place.
We will be camping enroute and travelling with the local Bedouin. This is a fantastic new trek challenge and a great adventure!
