TRANSHUMANCE
Join Denis Longfellow in the Mercantour as he takes three days to move his stock between their winter base at the coast at Sainte Agnès above Menton, to Le Boréon near St Martin Vésubie, or the trip back down to Sainte-Agnès in the autumn.
Enjoy the thrills of stock migration in the glorious hills of the area, and finish off your horse riding with a well earned dip in the Med.
ITALY
Join our horse riding partner Denis Longfellow, and his magnificent Merens horse troupe for four magical days horse riding crossing into Italy and back.
Enjoy thermal baths, and stay in hotels and mountain refuges, the last of which is our favourite at Mollières.
The horse riding route goes from Le Boréon to Terme di Valdieri, to La Questa, to Mollières and back to the base at the Boréon.
Wild wolves have been spotted on this trip!!
All round tailor made courses and horse riding for the less experienced also available in the Mercantour.
