Fancy hitting the road for the weekend? Whether you want to test yourself on some fo the UK's most notorious passes, or have a relaxed road biking exploration of the UKs many beauty spots, we have a road cycling weekend for you.
You can choose from a wide range of fully supported and guided small group road cycling weekends, from introductory road bike courses, to rolling 'mid-range' riding and some tough climbs. All rides can be adjusted to the needs of the group.
UK classic road biking destinations include:
Lake District. Fells, forests, remote Lakeland villages and of course the lakes themselves create a stunning backdrop for some of the best riding to be had without leaving the UK. We tackle Kirkstone, Honister, Newlands, Whinlatter, Hardknott and Wrynose, the 6 most notorious passes in the Lake District National Park.
Wales. Some of Britain’s finest and toughest road riding is secretly tucked away in the deserted hills of the north east of Wales and it's these we'll be exploring during our Wales long weekend cycle rides.
Shropshire. The numerous back roads and lanes of historic South Shropshire offer some of the finest and most varied road riding in the country. Endless traffic-free rolling roads, castles, wonderful views and charming country villages all feature on our Church Stretton-based road biking weekend.
Cotswolds: Quintessentially English, the Cotswolds are best explored by bike. This road cycle weekend takes you through the beautiful Cotswolds countryside, along country lanes with sweeping views, quiet hamlets and picturesque villages steeped in history.
