The Chamonix Valley.........
Although Cycling comes first for our clients, wherever possible we try to include some free time for you to explore the breathtaking Chamonix Valley; indeed the finest shows in the Valley are probably those produced by nature itself. Areas of outstanding natural beauty with some of the most spectacular panoramas in the world are accessible to everyone here.

Under the gaze of Western Europe’s highest peak - Mont Blanc, Chamonix is a vibrant alpine town. Known worldwide as the extreme sports capital of the Alps; however it offers so much more. Chamonix has a cosmopolitan atmosphere whether your thing is mooching in the extensive shops or visiting the many natural beauty sites.

Spring & Summer sees the snow remaining on Western Europes highest peak Mont Blanc and her neighbours, and although the world capital of mountaineering, it is not exclusively reserved for this activity. Why not experience the breathtaking train ride to the Mer de Glace, summit the L’Aiguille du Midi via cable car or dine with the views of the Mont Blanc Massif?

The Montenvers railway brings you to the shores of the Mer de Glace – ‘the sea of ice’. It has outstanding natural beauty and is one of Europe’s largest living glaciers. Overlooked by fascinating mountain-tops the Montenvers site offers all facets of the high Alps and departure point for numerous glacial activities: the ice caves into the heart of the glacier, the Crystals Gallery, and the Alpine Wildlife Museum.

From it’s height of 3842m the Aguille du Midi and its constructed terraces offer a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc (4810m) and the main peaks of the French, Swiss and Italian Alps including the Matterhorn. The cable car ride provides spectacular viewing of the valley floor, a truly magical excursion.

The Mont Blanc Tramway opened in 1914, will take you on a journey through alpine pastures and forests bringing you to the famous Bionnassay glacier, and the finest 360 degree panoramic views of the Mont Blanc chain.

Parapente (paragliding in English) – you can enjoy the flight of your life! Through Fly Chamonix, we organise tandem flights for those who wish to see the Valley as a bird with a fully quialified pilot. The adrenalin rush is amazing.

Or if you prefer the green of a golf course, then swinging a golf club under Mont Blanc is something special.
