Ben Nevis stands at 1,344 metres (4,408 feet) on the west coast of Scotland near Fort William. Starting at sea level this is a real challenge in both summer and winter conditions. On a clear day the views are simply spectacular with the Isle of Mull, Isle of Skye, Glencoe and the Cairngorm mountains all visible.
We normally meet you at 9am at the Glen Nevis Visitor Centre and after a short briefing we head for the mountain.
It usually takes between 6 and 8 hours to climb up and down the mountain track. Alternatively, if you have previous scrambling experience and the weather is good the CMD arête is another option although this normally takes between 8 and 10 hours.
