Starting your Great Glen Walk holiday in Fort William near the base of Britain’s highest mountain, you follow the Caledonian canal via Neptune’s Staircase to Gairlochy for your first nights accommodation. You then continue on the trail up Loch Lochy to South Laggan, and onto Invermoriston via Loch Oich and the Kytra Lock.
