News - Slopestyle unveiled as Olympic sport

It's official! Rumours had been floating around for a while that the International Olympic Committee's Executive Board were considering adding Ski and Snowboard Slopestyle and Halfpipe Skiing to the Winter Olympics.
It turns out the rumour mill was spot on. The statement was officially made yesterday (Monday, 4 July) in South Africa declaring that the sport will make its Olympic debut in Sochi, Russia in 2014.
