Surf-guide job going in Panama

Ever wanted to jack it all in, disappear to Central America and live the dream? Panama Surf Camp are giving you just that chance. If you spend an evaluation month with them, and hold relevant qualifications, then you could be their next surf-guide.

As a surf-guide you’re responsible for making sure guests have the best possible time in Panama. By going out surfing with the guests, you can make sure they get to the best breaks at the best times, matching their ability with the conditions. If the waves are small, you’re the one who has to put a positive spin on it, whether that means surfing or not. If the waves are good then not only do you get the satisfaction of helping people develop their surfing, but you get the chance to surf the waves too...

You’ll be required to know some surfing first aid, be able to drive a boat, speak Spanish and be willing to help out as and when required.

So what do you get in return? Awesome warm water surf, accommodation and a good feed are provided, and experience suggests that a good surfguide can collect $2-400 per month in tips... On top of that you’re also able to give surf lessons at $20/hour.
