Day 1: Pakse â Champasak (60 Km) Ride to Champasak on the Mekong River and cycle to the pre-Angkor Temple and the birth of the Khmer Empire at Wat Phu. Spend the afternoon cycling around the stunning Island of Don Daeng.
Day 2: Champasak - Don Khong (40 Km) Continue South on mainly flat roads to the town of Ban Kiet Ngong, walk or cycle up to the temple mount of Phu Asa for lunch before transferring to Don Khong the largest of the 4000 Islands. Day 3: Don Khong - Khan Phapheng â Don Khone (55 Km)Cycle through the 4000 Islands and go Island to Don Khone following the old French Railway to in search of the nearly extinct Irrawaddy dolphins.
Day 4: Don Khone â Tad Fane (30 Km)Cycle to the âNiagra of the Eastâ Khon Pha Peng waterfall before your transfer to into the coffee growing area of Laos: the Bolaven Plateau.
Day 5 â Bolaven Plateau â Tad Lo (73 Km)Ride more than 70 km, and though there is a gentle climb of about 15 km, you won't even notice as you take in the lush countryside and the great views of the surrounding mountains.
Day 6 â Tad LoToday we are free to enjoy this wonderful area and hotel. Options are to sunbathe and swim at the falls, elephant riding - go on a short walk to visit a tribal village.
Day 7 â Tad Lo â Pakse (92 Km)Leave the Bolaven Plateau behind we ride back to Pakse where the tour ends.Accom Description
