Our Future Action Plan

  • Done: Participate in fishery stocking programs. (Two staff members contributed 6 volunteers days to assist biologist from Ministry of Natural Resources)
  • Upgrade remuneration of regional guides. (Parity with Federal statues will be reached by June 2012 (min. $160 CAD per day)
  • Done: Contribute more finances towards local communities and events such as Canadian Kayak Challenge (We (SSINVEST, owner of WildExodus) sponsored the paddling event held in the City we operate from (Timmins YTS))
  • Ongoing: Develop more eco-friendly products (We continue to replace lighting in our glamping camps with solar powered units.)
  • Replace toilet water tanks and shower heads to low volume units. (Underway, scheduled for completion May 2012)
  • Ongoing: Further reduce energy consumption by Installing sensors on all outdoor lighting and Replacing all indoor lighting with high efficiency bulbs.
  • Increase involvement of local natives in excursions (Discussion underway with Nashnibeaski Friendship Centre to include youth participation in glamping program)
