Cabanas Buena Vista – Pichilemu CHILE
We are Valerie and Chris (and Emma and Lucas) and in 2005
we arrived to Pichilemu with backpacks and surfboards, and several years later we’ve added two businesses and two kids!
Our cabins are a little jewel in the hillside of Pichilemu. A 15min walk from the surf and the town, but you feel like you are far away from everything! We operate a small cabin complex, each one with plenty of privacy and a killer view. There’s a shared fire and bbq pit patio and outdoors lounging area. The cabins come equipped with everything you need for cooking plus linens and towels. We have Wi-Fi access and the large cabins have wood burners for those chilly fall evenings (key after a good surf).
Cabanas Buena Vista is the perfect place for couples, small families or groups of friends.
Our green philosophy comes from a lifestyle of sustainable actions. What we believe in our guests take part in; sometimes we learn from them and other times they learn from us.
We compost, keep 2 chickens, and collect recyclables (glass, cardboard, and plastic). Our grey and black waste water is recycled into the gardens. We ride bikes and walk to town and the surf as much as possible. We have bikes for rent and also canvas bags to lend out to clients for their groceries.
Together with our language school we try and implement positive community actions. Our cultural tours give income to very rural communities and allow clients to get off the gringo trail and experience the Chilean country side. Our school runs a Study Spanish and ESL volunteer program in the municipal schools. We always work together with reliable local surf schools, kite surf schools, farms, and horseback guides so our clients and students have the best time and a holistic experience in Pichilemu.

Cabanas Buena Vista offer good value accommodation in a great location to enjoy everything that is good about Pichilemu, whether you are passing through with a group of friends, or keen to stay for a while and discover the local area.

We have already integrated sustainable practices into most areas of operation but still plan to go further
