Comrie Croft is a low-cost employee-owned business encouraging you to relax, stay-a-while and enjoy the great outdoors. For you, we run a homely hostel in rustic converted farm buildings, a natural campsite where you can have a fire and snooze in a hammock, and some of the most exciting single-track mountain biking in Scotland.
Options for staying include private ensuite rooms, with the camaraderie of a hostel setting, or a real night under the stars in one of our Swedish kata tents with wood-burning stoves, handmade beds, sheepskins and paraffin lamps… a memorable experience summer or winter.
The Croft is nestled at the foot of a 3,000ft mountain, just over an hour’s drive from Glasgow/Edinburgh. Our region, Perthshire, is the hottest destination for outdoor adventures in the UK, offering everything from world class mountain biking to white-water rafting to ‘zorbing’… Plus there are thousands of miles of trails to walk to bike. Some of the most progressive outdoor access laws in the world enable you to roam the wilderness to the north for days without seeing a car or house.

What do we say?
In the central highlands of Scotland this unique farmhouse, hostel, camping and mountain biking set up, owned and run by the community, is a real gem. Great value, not far from Edinburgh and Glasgow and with outdoor activities coming out of their ears.
