If you are looking for a surf lodge in Nicaragua, El Coco Loco has got it all. Amazing location next to world class, quiet surf breaks, a friendly, sociable atmosphere, and comfortable accommodation whether you want a bargain shared dorm or the privacy of your own cabana. With their ecological operations and Waves of Hope foundation giving back to the local community, El Coco Loco is a living example of what a much better adventure is all about.

Our Future Action Plan
- PROGRESSED! ONGOING. Energy - we are going solar shortly, and off grid within 3 years
- DONE! ONGOING Waves of Hope to operate adult training classes in various fields, and entrepreneurial training to support local business development.
- DONE! Build on success of beach clean ups, by installing new garbage cans and emptying them.
- DONE! Introduce health and wellness benefits for employees, and scholarship programs for our employees children.
- DONE! 2000 TURTLES HATCHED. AIM 10000 IN 2011! Develop a turtle protection program to reduce egg poaching.
- DONE! Waves of Hope also plans on purchasing land to construct a community center for the adults and children, to include soccer/baseball field
- NEW 2011/12: assist in the construction of a new pre-school and begin a scholarship program to assist local teenagers in continuing their education beyond the level attainable within our community.
