Their homely lodge makes the perfect base for relaxing after a hard day exploring this stunning Scottish wilderness. Perfectly suited for bikers and walkers, and they also offer a huge variety of guided walking, winter walking, navigation and skills courses, all led by local guides. We have already integrated sustainable practices into most areas of operation but still plan to go further
Our Future Action Plan
- Investigate whether an electrical vehicle would be a feasible option for Mountain Innovations (currently being trialed by the Cairngorms National Park).
- We plan to reduce energy consumption by 10% by upgrading draft proofing, insulation and timed light switches
- We want to install solar panels for hot water as soon as possible but by 2015 at the latest
- We want to commit to a local visitor payback scheme with enviromental targets, such as the Wildcat project (due to be implicated this year).
