Leadership in sustainable practices and/or tackling local social or environmental concerns is our original motivation and main focus of our operation.
Our Future Action Plan
- Minimise the use of our conventional ouboard and maximise the use of our electrical one in order to stop using fuel
- By including intineraries to remote, underdeveloped and hard to get to islands to distribute economic benefits more widely.
- Place a solar panel to support our wind generator so that we minimise the use of our motor to charge the boat's batteries
- Only use biodegradable cleaning products and avoiding at all times dumping of chemicals or non-natural products at sea
- By avoiding, when mooring the boat, to throw the anchor on meadows of Poseidonia Oceanica which is essential for the ecosystem
- By organising a marine ecology seminars for divers that involves a briefing on how to monitor the level of anthropogenic impact on a marine site
- By organising and designing wildlife sailing trips that increase awareness and get poeple invovled in marine conservation
