A perfect combination of relaxation and adventure

El Coco Loco is an incredible place to spend a few days, a few weeks or a few months enjoying the sun. You can spend your days lounging in a hammock, reading a good book and drinking rum punch or pack your days with surfing, swimming, volleyball, ping pong, soccer and bocce. There is also opportunity to volunteer with the locals, which I will definitely commit to on my visit next year! I was stung by a Sting Ray one morning while surfing - ooch! A few incredible locals brought me to a nearby hut where a wonderful family took care of me, helping me get rid of the pain. Without speaking the same language, they were happy to help. The Nicaraguan people in this community are truly wonderful!

Jungle Cat trapped in a Conrete Jungle

This place is amazing. Rustic, Real and Eco-friendly. The guys that run the place are amazing, the surf break are amazing and oh yeah - the surf breaks are considered "crowded" if there are 10 people out. Fresh, local awesome food everyday. Holly Beck is there sometimes to give surf lessons. Volcano boarding... the Pros are endless! If your going to do it, do it El Coco Loco Style!
