This tour made me love Nicaragua!
I traveled with my young (4) son and partner in January with Un Buen Viaje, and with Jessica. We loved how flexible she was in making the visit fit our particular needs. She also really did her homework and gave us a great experience. We got to see so much more not being whisked around in a big tour bus. And my son had the time of his life!

Customized Nicaragua Tour

Un Buen Viaje organized a custom 2-week tour for me around the Ultramaraton Fuego y Agua. I was looking for something that would get me off the beaten path and provide more local exposure than guided tours usually do, and this company delivered exactly what I was looking for.

Up close adventure... commune with the locals

This adventure immersed me in the culture and the life of Nicaraguans. We staid in small, local hotels, ate food mostly in local, unpretentious restaurants, rode local buses, viewed majestic vistas, and involved in the lives and celebrations of the people. It was definitely not luxurious, but I enjoyed not being on a tour bus surrounded by fellow North Americanos. This was an experience in "being there." Jessica, our guide, was very accomodating and flexible.
