Saskia and Duncan at La Source are fast building a reputation for offering the most welcoming and unique of mountain holidays. We shan't say to much as we haven't had the pleasure of visiting yet. It won't be long before we do though. La Source were at the top of our 'wanted' list and we can't wait to check out their stunning eco lodge and head out for day's ski touring in the brilliant terrain around Samoens with them.
Duncan and I have been involved in the Outdoors and Adventure sports, professionally for a LONG TIME!
We LOVE what we do and are passionate about people, adventure and growth!
La Source is a low energy and eco-renovated 1865 Farm that opened in May 2009.
In the summer we run multi-adventure (design your own), rock climbing and yoga weeks.
In the winter, La Source is an eco-ski Lodge where you can come and stay or join a course.
There is a big environmental movement now, but we feel that to be truly effective, it needs to come with a deep shift in consciousness. We need to realise the interconnection between all things and this means tapping into our own Source!
La Source has been described as an 'Adventure Sports Ashram'.
Your body is nourished with lovingly prepared organic, local and vegetarian food and lots of physical activity and rest.
Your mind is soothed by the beauty and immenseness of the environment and spacious simplicity of the architecture.
Your soul finds space to breathe, away from the business of daily life. Yoga, meditation, relaxation in the wood fired hot tub under the stars, and being in the mountains helps get you in touch with yourself.
