If Carlsberg did beach lodges in West Africa...

I'd recommend them if you are looking for:

• Independent/solo adventure
• a small group of mates
• a large group
• full on action
• off-the-beaten-track discovery
• great value
• backpacker
• chilled out
• Volunteers

Other comments

On day two we trekked down the beach into the local village to see what was going on, within minutes we found ourselves thrown into a hectic football match with about 40 kids, I think the formation was something like 4-4-16! We lost.

Environmental Awareness

Green Turtle had obviously made the whole place with the local environment and community in place. They have clearly created a lot of opportunities for the nearby community which makes the place really safe and created a good vibe about the place. I like the fact that there are local tours of the area available and they would benefit from doing this more.
