River Grading Systems
This website explains to you the river grading systems. It supplies photos and example rivers in each grade to help you understand what your paddling down.
Books
Bill Mason is considered to be the granddaddy of Canadian Canoeing and we consider his two books to be among the best on the subject. ‘Path of the Paddle’ is a book full of techniques for both on and off the river useful to beginners and experts’ alike. ‘Song of the Paddle’ is a guide and philosophy to out door living and adventure canoeing.
