European train booking
Book your trains to all the main stations in Europe (including Eurostar) through Rail Europe:
Alternatively, you can book Eurostar tickets direct: high speed, hassle free connections between England, Belgium and France.
Planning tools
The Deutsche Bahn site is a predictably precise tool with train times to every station in Europe. Think of the most tortured route you can, and it will calmly and neatly display all your connections to even the smallest of unmanned stations anywhere in Europe. It is just a shame you can't make many bookings through it - use the Rail Europe engine above.
We highly recommend the Thomas Cook European Rail Timetable. This book is the most widely used for those needing the entire European network at their fingertips.
Snow Trains
Getting the train to the slopes is becoming an increasingly popular thing to do. You can party all night, or get a good nights sleep. Either way, the snow train is a great way to kick off your ski holiday. Unfortunately Rail Europe have cancelled their snow train to the Alps for 2009/10, but Eurostar still run theirs. You can book them through the booking engine above.
If you want to know more, Snow Carbon is the best place to find snow train schedules and routing.
