Sustainable Travel International (STI) is a global leader in sustainable tourism development. The non-profit organization’s mission is to promote sustainable development through responsible travel by providing programs that help travelers, businesses and destinations protect the environment, preserve cultural heritage and promote economic development. We have partnered with them to develop our sustainability consultancy, and provide additional benefits to support our members.

The Rainforest Alliance is working to help tourism entrepreneurs conserve their environments and contribute to local livelihoods, while improving their own bottom line. We work with them to reach out and improve the sustainability of tourism businesses in Central America.

 

The Adventure Travel Trade Association is the major global adventure trade network. They focus on the creation of sustainable adventure travel markets with a focus on people, planet and profit. Members network with destinations, tour operators, travel agents, accommodations, service partners and media partners worldwide, and access global and regional news, research and events. We work with the ATTA to reach out across the adventure travel industry and promote sustainable practices. We are grateful for their support.

The International Ecotourism Society is the oldest and largest global ecotourism association. TIES promotes ecotourism by; Creating an international network of individuals, institutions and the tourism industry; Educating tourists and tourism professionals; and Influencing the tourism industry, public institutions and donors to integrate the principles of ecotourism into their operations and policies. As guestwriters, we work with TIES to share news, stories and advice with their network of travellers and industry professionals.

Green Key is an international eco-label awarded to thousands of establishments in 28 countries worldwide. It is a non-governmental, non-profit, independent programme and is presently the largest global eco-label for accommodation. We partnered with Green Key to support certified accommodation operators and to encourage more providers to improve the sustainability of their operations.

 

The Converging World are an innovative UK based charity that invests in renewable energy projects in the developing world.  All the profits from these investments are used to fund community-based sustainable development and social projects around the world. We worked with them to develop a carbon calculator and the muchbetter alternative to carbon offsetting

The Travel Foundation helps UK travel companies take effective action on sustainable tourism by providing a range of tools, training and communication materials to help transform business. We have partnered with them to develop our sustainability consultancy, and we work with chalets in Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets on the make snowsports greener campaign to save energy and water in ski resorts.

Ellis Brigham are the UK's leading independent retailer for the adventure sports community. They have a reputation for quality, knowledge and a commitment to serious equipment as well as clothing and accessories. We work with them to reach out to the adventure community and to identify new developments in outdoor clothing and kit.

GoneBoarding are the UK's premium snowboarding community and forum. We are grateful for their support of Much Better Adventures from the beginning, and we continue to work closely with them to build awareness of a 'muchbetter' future for snowboarding.

Picture Organic Clothing are a great new snowsports brand from France, who wear their ethics on their sleeve. They were our first sponsors, and we will continue to work closely with them to advance our shared vision of a muchbetter future in the mountains.

Grassroots Journeys promotes community-based tourism projects that are run by community members and affiliated partner not-for-profit organisations and travel agencies. Grassroots Journeys provides this service free of charge to communities and NGOs and only promotes those initiatives which directly benefit local communities. We work with them to exchange information, understanding and ideas.

Leap Media really do 'design for change'! We came to them with a strong image in our heads of who we were, but no idea how to turn that into the logo that said it all: adventure sports, ethics, soul. Look at the result! We got more than a logo, we got a whole way of life with that design. You can't ask for more than that.

Conservation Footprints Consulting facilitates harmonisation of business enterprise/travel operators' needs with sustainable wildlife conservation and tourism practices.  Through assessments and conservation ethics it creates a remedy for businesses to perform better which is sustainable and enhances ecological and cultural opportunities to their products. We are working with them on identifying and rewarding the 'muchbetter' wildlife operators around the world.

pocketvillage is a new meta-adventure travel initiative launched in 2011 that wants to provide travellers with an inspiring and intuitive search engine to find and enjoy truly exceptional travel experiences off the beaten track. They help travellers finding extraordinary accommodations, tours, and activities at pristine locations. We are working closely with them, and before long you will see muchbetter members appearing on their exciting website too.

Rezgo is a cloud based software as a service reservation system designed for tour and activity operators. Rezgo gives your business a full-featured booking engine, point of sale, and distribution system without the burdens of managing technology. We are working with them to help our member base compete more effectively online.
