Following these 10 tips to flying greener will help to minimise the carbon footprint of your flying habit, show airlines you expect them to improve efficiency, and ensure your holiday is benefitting the world in other ways...   
 

  • Avoid short haul - there are plenty of muchbetter alternatives.
  • Fly less, travel longer - Go away for 2 weeks, not 1, or 3 weeks not 2. You get to do more, and the atmosphere will appreciate it if you only fly away once a year.

  • Fly direct  - take off and landing is the most energy intensive part of a flight.
