Much Better Adventures is a community effort. Join Alex, Ed, Sam and Tom on a global mission to make adventure muchbetter for travellers, locals and environments alike.

This is a unique opportunity for locals and specialist organisations to help us support local businesses and reward ethical practices in adventure destinations around the world.

What does an ambassador do?  

We want to build a long term relationship with you as our local contact, spread the word and work with you to make your area muchbetter.

 To start off with, ambassadors will;

• Write a muchbetter guide to their local area, telling the world why they love it and passing on their inside knowledge. Click here to see Stu's guide to Squamish as an example.
• Suggest some of their favourite local businesses they would recommend to a visiting friend - places to stay, instructors, schools, local guides, shops, restaurants and bars.

Going forward they;

• Write articles about local events and green issues
  
• Help us reach out to local businesses however they can
  
• Are often willing to be contacted by travellers who have questions about their destination.

Why do it?

Be the featured expert

• Ambassadors will be profiled in search results and the guides they help with. If you have a businesses or service to promote in return we can provide brand exposure and links. See Stu's guide to Squamish as an example of a local ambassador, and Nurture Lakeland's guide to the Lake District as an example of a partnership with a local service.

Join the network

• Be part of our network of likeminded muchbetter ambassadors. Who knows, you might meet up with other muchbetter ambassadors when you are on the road.

Get given things

• As soon as it’s ready, a muchbetter t-shirt will be making its way to you, and other nifty freebies are sure to follow.

Featured Ambassador: Zaza

Joined us: June 2011. After working with the team on a short trip, I was really evoked when seeing the passion and enthusiasm in the eyes of each of the guys.

Ambassador Role: Community networker, finding more great ambassadors and local experts, infecting us all with her enthusiasm.

Favourite adventures (so far): Life so far is proving to be a pretty grand adventure! I’ve been so fortunate to travel over various parts of the earth and live life at its fullest

Reason for being at MBA: I’m passionate about supporting this cause and the team in whatever way I can to spread the word so everyone can live a much better experience!
