Steve & Karen Allen

After 20 years in the hospitality industry in the UK, in 2006, we decided to relocate to Switzerland, leaving behind the Northamptonshire countryside, we are now loving mountain life. We chose the resort of Nendaz, as it offers easy access to Geneva airport, and has activities for families and friends to enjoy year round. A quieter resort than Verbier, but has the same great ski area. We both love skiing, and this was the primary reason to move to Nendaz. Steve knows the area week, and can seek out hidden trails both for skiing and biking. We have recently taken up road biking, mainly along the Rhone, and love to explore the villages, vineyards and fruit farms in the valley. Other hobbies include mountain biking, and hiking. Steve is the chef in our household, and we both love to entertain. We run 2 chalets in the resort, Chalet Christy was our first chalet. In 2009, we purchased a plot of land and designed a new chalet, which we run year round on a B&B basis, and if the whole chalet is booked we offer a catered option.
We have 2 grown up children, both now living in Nendaz too.
