The Food

Your hosts recognise that great food is an essential element of every catered chalet experience and they only employ experienced, qualified chefs to produce delicious meals for you.

Breakfast each day includes a cooked option, freshly baked French bread and pastries, porridge, a choice of cereals, fruit and yoghurts and fresh juices, tea and coffee.

Afternoon tea features your favourite treats and will be laid out in the chalet upon your return from the slopes.

Dinner each evening is a 4 course affair, designed and prepared by your own chef. Unlimited quality wines accompany each meal and dinner ends with coffee and chocolates served by the roaring log fire.

Your Hosts

Your hosts Sam and Darren established their business in Morzine back in 1998, so it’s fair to say they know a thing or two about the local ski area. They’re on-hand throughout your stay to offer tips and recommendations and it’s their mission to deliver a service that’s above and beyond your expectations.

Chalet Layout

The spacious open plan lounge and dining area has a log fire and large picture windows offering spectacular views and access to the large terrace and balconies. There is comfortable outdoor furniture with heaters for those wishing to sit outside and enjoy the views.

There is a bar where you can help yourselves to the honesty bar and partake in afternoon tea. The dining area seats 20 adults comfortably with views across the valley to Avoriaz.

There are 8 en-suite bedrooms some with balconies and these include 3 family rooms and then a selection of doubles, twins and triples on offer, enabling this chalet to be perfect for sole occupancy and shared occupancy bookings. Rooms 1 to 5 have balconies with seating to enjoy the views and rooms 6 to 9 share a terrace area with outdoor table and chairs. Note that there is an extra small 9th bedroom with limited light but no bathroom.

Outdoors there is parking for up to 8 vehicles. For beginners and those with small children we can provide a minibus service to the slopes after breakfast.

What will my children eat at this chalet?

Your hosts believe that just because you’ve paid a child’s price, this doesn’t mean your children have to eat an earlier dinner. The choice is yours. Children’s meals are healthy and balanced, bearing in mind your individual child’s personal likes and dislikes.

What happens on the chalet night off?

On one evening during your stay, your hosts will have a night off. This gives you the opportunity to sample one of Morzine’s many excellent restaurants. Your chalet hosts can recommend and book a local restaurant for you.

What else is there to do in Morzine?

Once your day on the piste is complete, Morzine offers a stack of extra activities. Try your hand at night sledging, snow-shoeing or night skiing. You can even arrange to stay overnight in a refuge if you’re brave enough!
