The Food

At breakfast you can expect fresh bread and pasties, a selection of ham. cheese, cereals, eggs and fruits in addition to a daily hot option such as scrambled eggs on toast, bacon rolls or freshly made pancakes with maple syrup.

Afternoon tea includes some of your favourite treats in addition to tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

Dinner on 6 nights of your stay comprises of 4 courses which are best described as a mixture of French and English classics. Wine is served throughout dinner.

Your Hosts

This chalet is operated by a well-established local operator. Andy and Liz have been in resort since 2005 so they know exactly how to plan the perfect holiday for you using their local knowledge and experience.

Accommodation

Chalet Layout

There is a large homely open plan lounge and dining area, with a wooden-beamed ceiling - the central feature is a warming log fire. After a days skiing or snowboarding you can sit back and relax in the cosy snug area, with comfortable deep sofas. There is a large TV with satellite, a good range of DVD’s, a library of books and plenty of board games for you to enjoy. There is also a well stocked bar run on an honesty basis.

On the large decking at the rear of the chalet, you’ll find a luxury 7-seater hot-tub with great views over the mountains. With 42 jets, it’s powerful hydrotherapy is a great way to get rid of any aches and pains. There’s also have a fantastic large games room with an American pool table, table football and Wii consoles for your use.

At the front of the chalet there is a large southfacing terrace with garden furniture, sun loungers and a built in BBQ.

Samoens is one of the most beautiful villages in France. In the French Alps and part of the Grand Massif ski area, which connects 5 resorts including Flaine, Les Carroz, Morillon and Sixt, Samoens is on the doorstep of an awesome 265km of pistes, starting at 1600m and rising to 2500m.

Can the kids in our group eat separately?

Yes, if you’d prefer, your hosts can plan and serve a 2 course evening meal for any kids in your group before adults sit down to dinner.
