The Food

The Food

Your chefs use the best possible ingredients, with the emphasis on those that are seasonal, locally sourced and free range and they also try to ensure that the food is a good balance between healthy and indulgent. Almost everything is made from scratch, including stocks, sauces, ice creams, pastry etc. and this means that they know exactly what is in everything so there is a very reduced risk of a surprise allergic reaction.

Breakfast is a real treat at this chalet. You can expect freshly prepared smoked salmon and scrambled eggs to set you up for the day, along with pastries, fresh breads, muesli, fresh fruits, yoghurts and tea and coffee in addition to fruit juices and smoothies.

Afternoon tea will exceed all of your expectations with treats such as millionaire shortbread or cheese scones. Also available you’ll find fresh bread and a selection of preserves, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and vin chaud.

Sample Menu

Bloody Mary shots with garlic prawns Tartiflette tatin with reblochon ice cream and prosciutto shard Pomegranate glazed duck breast with creamy polenta & spinach Blackberry, apple and spiced pear hazlenut pavlova & sweet chestnut cream Beaufort cheese and biscuits
