This Savoyard alpine Morzine chalet is just 600 metres from the Prodains lift. You can ski to within 160 metres of the Chalet. Your hassle-free ski break is just 1.5 hours from Geneva airport and includes:

  • A daily breakfast with a different hot option everyday.
  • Homemade tea and cake in the afternoons (apart from on Wednesdays.)
  • Tea and coffee bought to your door every morning.
  • 3 course meals provided daily by our experienced chefs (apart from on Wednesdays.)
  • A knowledgeable team that will provide any information you need about the mountain, local restaurants and entertainment.

The Catered Chalet Experience

Your hosts want to see you return, and so they will do everything they can to make this happen.

Get there.

  • Grab a flight to Geneva and jump on your transfer for the 1.5 hour drive.
  • If you get there early enough, your lift pass will be waiting so you can jump straight on to the slopes. The lift pass is not included in the price.
  • Enjoy freshly baked cakes in the afternoon, a delicious 3-course evening meal and have a game of table football.

Ski, eat, drink, repeat.

  • Eat your breakfast before catching the free shuttle (leaving at 8.30, 5 days a week) or walking 600 m to the closest ski lifts to warm up the ski legs.
  • Explore the Portes du Soleil resort with your team.
  • Have a few apres drinks in Avoriaz, or head straight back to the crackle of the log fire.
  • Enjoy another carefully designed evening meal.
  • Wake up the next day, look out the window, and do it all again.

Last day on the slopes and fly home.

  • Check out at 10am. Either get one last ski day in, or get your transfer straight back to Geneva airport.

The Concierge Service

Once you have booked the chalet, your local hosts run a concierge service to help you arrange transfers, ensure your lift passes are waiting for you, as well as sorting ski hire, lessons and more.

The Food

Your hosts are passionate about good, sustainably sourced food. The menu is recreated annually and is designed to give you the right nutrition, so that you can make the most out of your trip.

For breakfast, you can expect:

  • Large choice for breakfast every morning, including: porridge, boiled eggs, different daily hot option like sausages and bacon, fresh French bread, jams, Nutella, Marmite, cereals, yoghurts, fruit, nuts, seeds and dried fruit.

For afternoon tea, you can expect:

  • Freshly baked dorset apple cake, spiced carrot cake apricot flapjacks.

For dinner, you can expect:

  • A three course dinner. The menu is redesigned every year, so if you are a returning guest, you can still expect something new.
  • An example meal would be roast beetroot winter salad with a goats cheese mousse for starter. Then a rabbit and celeriac pie, followed by chocolate brownie, honey comb and cardamom ice cream.
  • A cheese platter is provided on the penultimate night.
  • All ingredients are locally sourced and inspired, so don’t expect dishes you’d have at home.

Even the most spacious stomachs are catered for.

The chalet day off is normally on Wednesday, so there’s an opportunity to sample some local restaurants.

  • On the ground floor, theres an open plan kitchen and dining area, with a double room and a bathroom.
  • On the second floor theres two twins, a twin ensuite room and a bathroom.
  • In the garage, theres a heated garage. Expect boots to be dry in the morning.

The chalet

The chalet is located a 260 m flat walk to two large ski lifts. The chalet is a 10 minute bus ride from central Morzine, so there isn’t too much of a trek to the restaurants on the chalet day off. The resorts of Ski Morzine and Portes du Soleil are both easily accessible from this chalet, so this chalet is ideal for all abilities.

The resort

The sought after historical town of Morzine sits in the centre of the Portes Du Soleil, a snow-filled microclimate with more pistes that anywhere else, 9 snow parks and fantastic off piste. You return year after year to Portes du Soleil and always find some new tracks.

The beauty of Portes du Soleil is that you can access the resorts of Les Gets, Avoriaz, Champery, Les Croisets. For example, Les Gets is a 30 minute ski from the centre of Morzine.

Your food, accommodation and concierge service are all included in the price. Flights, transfers, ski hire and ski passes are not included. However, our hosts can help you with all of these key elements.

Can I customise the trip or book other dates?

Customised trips are possible but not always guaranteed as our chalets are quite popular, especially in peak season. So feel free to enquire.

Can I book a full week/come for a shorter/longer period around the available dates?

This chalet is available for either 5 day or 7 day stays on select dates.

What airports can we get transfers from/what flights should we get?

Geneva is the closest airport and your hosts can help you to organise either a single or a shared transfer.

Can my specific dietary requirements be met?

Your hosts are very experienced and are used to accommodating for everyones needs. If you have a dietary requirement, let us know and your hosts will do everything they can to suit you.

How much are transfers, lift passes and extras likely to be?

A private transfer from Geneva airport will be 190 euro one way for groups of 1 to 8.

An adult lift pass (aged between 20-64) for Portes du Soleil will be 248.30 euro for 6 days, 173.80 euros for 4 days, and 135.80 euros for 3 days.

A child lift pass (aged between 5-15) for Portes du Soleil will be 186.60 for 6 days, 130.80 euros for 4 days and 101.80 euros for 3 days.

A teenage lift pass (aged between 16-19) for Portes du Soleil will be 223.80 euros for 6 days, 156.80 euros for 4 days, and 122.20 euros for 3 days.

A senior lift pass (aged over 65) will be 223.30 euros for 6 days, 156.80 euros for 4 days, and 122.80 euros for 3 days.

Ski and board hire will come to you so you don’t have to queue in a shop on your first day.

6 day ski or board hire (including boots and poles) will be 72 euros for budget, 96 euros for beginner, 119 euros for intermediate, 144 euros for advanced, and 168 euros for expert.

4 day ski or board hire (including boots and poles) will be 54 euros for budget, 72 for beginner, 90 euros for intermediate, 108 euros for advanced and 128 euros for expert.

3 day ski and board hire (including the usuals) will be 42 euros for budget, 56 euros for beginner, 69 euros for intermediate, 84 euros for advanced, and 98 euros for expert.
