Accommodation

The Living Rooms:

A sumptious fur-filled living area around a blazing fire for guests to relax with champagne, traditional mulled wine or any number of cocktails from the classic to the exotic. Both living rooms feature Home Cinema systems and giant HD screens, with SKY HD access.

The Cigar Room:

Each glass and marble custom-designed cigar room complete with humidifier, extractor, and soft leather soafs, invites guests to savour cigars and brandy in intimate comfort.

Sauna and Hammam:

Each chalet features a sauna made with authentic imported Siberian pine, Saunas are prepared daily for guest use after a day of skiing. Every bedroom has its own hammam.

Swimming:

A ‘James Bond’ feature, the hidden red marble pools with sophisticated underwater lighting are revealed by a secret moving floor device. Poold depth can be adjusted to suit guest’s requirements (ideal for children). Water temperature is maintained at 33 degrees Centigrade.

Swim-in/Swim-Out:

The only chalets to offer ‘swimming under the stars’ also offer a wave machine, and jacuzzi facility in the outdoor section of each pool. Partly indoors and partly outdoors. Pools are avaialble for use at any time indoors, and outdoors only up to 1 am.

Ski Room:

The ski-rooms of both chalets open directly to the outdoors and are furnished with an eclectic mix of antique furniture and practical heated boot-warmers, suncream and refreshments.

Spa Facilities:

Each Chalet has its own spa therapy room equipped for a range of body, facial and beauty treatments. On request, some treatments can be performed in the guest bedrooms. Additionally, every guest bedroom boasts its own hammam, a hand-crafted marble pool-bath, and a rain-shower.

The Suites

Suite Elbrus:

Mount Elbrus is located in Europe high up in the Caucasus, where legend persists that Zeus chained Prometheus here to punish him for stealing fire from the Gods to give to man. Superstition and mysticism thrive in the harsh conditions of this unforgiving mountain. This Suite is decorated with flashing lamps, fur hides and animal carvings, embracing the spirit of Caucasian shamanic ecstasy.

Suite Vinson Massif:

Antartica is the coldest continent in the world, containing over 90% of the world’s ice. Glass and mirrors in this Suite evoke the prismatic and refractive qualities of ice crystals which famously create the spectacularly colourful dawns and sunsets in the Ellesworth Mountain Range. Vinson Massif towers over the range as its highest point.

Grand Suite Kibo:

Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa has 3 volcanic peaks of which Kibo is the highest. Exceptionally, every climate type on earth is encountered on any ascent up to Kibo, due to its equatorial location and high altitude. The décor of Grand Suite Kibo is like a journey up to Kibo with a multitude of colours as seen in the layers of volcanic strata, the variety of which is matched only by the fauna and flora of these mountains.

Grand Suite Aconcagua:

Aconcagua is the highest mountain peak outside Asia and is located in the Andes Mountain Range in South America. Here in this ‘black and red’ suite, the rich history traceable to the indigenous races can be seen in ceramics basketry and knitting and the region’s significant Spanish influences are both evident, with elaborate floral motifs in strong reds and dark-coloured woodwork and tapestry.

Location

Unquestionably the best place to be for skiers and centrally located in the heart of the most famous ski area in the region (Domaine Espace Killy). The Chalets benefit from the winter morning sun, allowing safe and easy skiing from and to the chalets. Shoppers are pampered by a choice of chauffeured transport or by a personal walking guide for the river-side forest route to and from shops.

Ski in/Ski out:

The chalets are ‘on the piste’ in the exclusive hamlet known as Les Etroits; with unique ski-in ski-out facility.
