Accommodation

CHALET ASTRAGLE is one of our largest chalet apartments situated in the Alpine style chalet building ‘La Fruitiere’ and is perfectly designed for a great ski holiday for families and groups alike! Chalet Astragle is also known by the name of “Chalet Fruitiere”. With a 25 metre walk to the St Martin ski lift, ski shops, lift pass office and restaurants the location really can’t get any better!

A large open plan living area with a beautiful log fire, large dining table, comfortable sofas and a great kitchen make it perfect for families or groups. The large sun terrace makes an ideal place to enjoy a sunset drink and take in the mountain views.

This chalet apartment sleeps ten very comfortably and actually has two pull out beds if need be. There are two double and three twin rooms all of which have their own bathroom.

To add to your holiday the chalet also boasts a large boot heater, ski lockers and a private underground garage (prebooking required).

F.A.Q.

Do I need a car once in resort?

Once you arrive in Saint Martin de Belleville you won’t require a car during the week! Chalet Alice Velut is situated in the village centre of the resort with all amenities including restaurants, bars and shops situated at your doorstep. The closest ski lift is situated within 50 meters of the front door of the chalet, you can walk there in less than 2 minutes! It’s a drag lift that brings you up to the higher part of the village where you can find the ski pass office, ski school meeting points as well as further shops and restaurants. Saint Martin de Belleville offers several free parking spots where your car can be left all week for free.

*What time can we arrive and depart?

The property is available from 4pm on the day of arrival, and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure unless otherwise specified. We will however try our best and accommodate an earlier arrival - As soon as the property is ready you are able to get in :) You have the option of leaving your luggage in the garage on arrival if you want to go into town and grab some lunch.

What activities are there for non-skiers?

There are many alternative activities in the valley for you to enjoy. These include dog sleigh rides through the winter wonderland to a nearby mill which is a fantastic adventure especially for children! Also, guided snow shoe walks or cross country skiing are a great way for you to explore the mountain. Saint Martin has two very impressive Baroque churches, the Sanctuary of Notre Dame de la Vie and the church of Saint Martin de Belleville both dating back to the 1600’s as well as a fantastic little museum next to the tourist office - Definitely worth a visit. There are free shuttle busses that bring you to the neighbouring resorts of Les Menuires and Val Thorens. There you have further activities such as a large gym and swimming pool, tobogganing and a larger choice of restaurants, bars and shops!
