Just minutes on foot from the chic centre of Chamonix, when this chalet was built 200 years ago it occupied a countryside location. Now it sits at the heart of this bustling resort, while the lifts aren’t far away either!

The Food

You can expect freshly prepared, locally sourced ingredients combined by a skilled chef at each meal. There’s a healthy balance between the hearty dishes you need to refuel after a day on the mountain and lighter dishes that won’t leave you feeling weary.

At breakfast you can expect French bread, pasties, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, juices, coffee, a selection of Twinings Teas and a hot option of eggs and bacon.

Afternoon tea is freshly prepared each day. You can expect favourites such as raspberry cakes with lemon and almond drizzle, served up with endless cups of tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

Dinner each evening begins with canapes and is followed by a starter, main course and dessert then coffee. Each meal is accompanied by a specially selected French wine sourced by local vintners.

Chalet Layout

The chalet itself is set over 3 floors and sleeps up to 12 people in 6 en-suite bedrooms. The ground floor consists of a large entrance hallway, open living and dining area with a large open fire. There is also heated storage for boots and skis. On the upper levels there are 2 more floors with 6 warm and cosy, tastefully decorated bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms.

3 of the 4 bedrooms on the first floor have grand balconies all with direct views onto the Bosson Glacier and the majestic Mont Blanc. The top floor contains 2 larger master bedrooms with baths en-suite.

Whilst maintaining its original character the chalet also has all the conveniences of a modern chalet with Wifi throughout, a warm home-from-home feel and a fantastic outdoor hot tub.

The chalet is just a two minute walk from Avenue Michel Croz and the town centre with its bars, restaurants and shopping and is very near to the newly developed Maison des Artists - one of the towns newest and sophisticated music venues.

The chalet is an 8 minute walk to the Aiguilles du Midi lift and less than a 10 minute walk to the Savoy and Planards nursery slopes and lifts to the Brevent/Flegere ski domain.

Chamonix centre is the heart of the main town where all the main bars and restaurants are with a wide array of sporting and leisure activities, shops, a great nightlife scene, and superb scenery.

The Brevent gondola runs from just outside the centre while the other lifts are a short drive away.

I’m a beginner skier, what can I expect in Chamonix?

Whilst Chamonix is known for its extreme Alpinism and endless challenging glaciers and pistes, the resort also has a lot to offer beginner skiers. There are several well experienced and well positioned ski schools for you to try, we know many skiers who fell in love with the mountains after learning in Chamonix.

Is this a good chalet for my family?

After 6 years of caring for guests of all ages, this company do know a thing or two about a good family ski holiday. They’ll help you plan any lessons, childcare and activities, while high chairs, cots and special kiddie menus are always available. If you’d like your children to eat an earlier supper each evening, just let your hosts know.
