This luxuriously appointed chalet is nestled in a beautiful French hamlet in the village of Saint Jean d’Aulps, only 1.25 hours from Geneva airport and 15 minutes drive to Morzine.

In Summer; The chalet is available as catered or self catered and sleeps 14. There is a large flat garden with hot tub, BBQ, garden furniture and panoramic views of the mountains. Adrenaline junkies will find MTB, white water rafting, canyoning, parapenting and much more while those seeking a more leisurely stay can enjoy walking, the lakes, sight seeing at nearby Evian, Yvoire, Montreux and many other stunning areas. Excellent for well behaved dogs and children!

In Winter; Chris and Bethan run the chalet as a catered chalet in the winter with a private driving service offering drop offs to any number of lifts so you can really make the most of your whole Portes du Soleil ski pass. They were in the final for the 2018 Source Awards for the Favourite Accommodation category and Best Food category so book now while theres space!

(winter only unless requested for summer bookings) Your chalet hosts are involved in every element of your stay, not least in the kitchen. Chris has a real passion for food and he has trained in some of the worlds best restaurants. Don’t worry it’s not crazy flavours and deconstructed foams, it’s always great filling food with some fine dining flourishes.

Breakfast always includes a pastry of the day as well as other continental items plus a daily changing hot dish such as home cured bacon with poached eggs on sourdough bread. You can even choose to have breakfast in your bedroom if you like!

Afternoon tea is a real treat. Expect favourites such as donuts filled with rhubarb jam and custard.

Dinner each evening begins with nibbles such as hot smoked duck ham, cucumber and Hendricks gun sorbet and crispy picked shitakes.

Your Hosts

Your hosts Bethan and Chris have spent 7 years working in the local area, running various other high end chalets and perfecting their own business. They’ll be closely involved in your stay, making sure you have all the information you need to make your trip truly memorable.


Chalet Layout

Inside this chalet you’ll find a large, atmospheric dining room and two separate living rooms, one of which includes a large open fire and bar area. Both lounges have satellite TV. The second lounge area is perfect for groups with children as it’s often used as a snug.

There’s 5 large en-suite bedrooms in this chalet, 2 of which can be used as family bedrooms. Combined, the chalet sleeps 14 people in total. In your group is larger, your hosts can arrange to take over another chalet on your behalf, which is just 10 yards away.

For your convenience, there’s also a ski store room, a heated boot rack and an outdoor hot tub with stunning views across the valley.


This chalet is in St Jean d’Aulps, just 5 minutes drive to the Roc d’Enfer ski area, which is one of the Portes du Soleil’s hidden gems. The chalet is also 10 minutes from Morzine, offering loads of opportunities for alternatives to skiing and for a spot of apres too.


Can my hosts cater to my dietary requirements?

They can indeed, just let them know your requirements when you book so they can be prepared.

Do my hosts offer a separate meal for children?

Hearty and nutritious meals will be prepared for any children in your group and they can be served at an earlier sitting if required.

What if I don't want to ski?

St Jean d’Aulps is a beautiful Alpine village with lots to see, do and explore. You won’t find yourself board! There’s also many other activities available such as showshoeing, hiking and cross-country skiing for you to try.

What should we do for dinner on the chalet day off?

There’s a couple of local restaurants in St Jean d’Aulps and your hosts will be happy to recommend some tried and tested options for you, while the bright lights of Morzine are just a couple of minutes away by car.

They’re not, but the owners of the chalet will be happy to help you arrange your airport transfers
