Accommodation

You will be transfered to the Colconquerors chalet arriving in plenty of time to set-up bikes and prepare equipment for week.

The chalet is located at 1700 meters in altitude and is set up specifically for road cyclists. Our bedrooms are comfortable and a place get a great nights sleep after a day in the mountains. One of the main features of our chalet is the huge south facing terrace that offers stunning views across to the Col du Telegraphe and is a firm favorite with everyone to relax after the rides. You’ll find tools and just about everything else you need when away with your bike right here, even a professional bike fit studio.

Location

The first of our two classic Tour de France stages. You’ll revisit the epic climbs that featured in the 2011 tour stage 19 won by Pierre Rolland after a fiercely contested stage with Contador, Evans and Andy Schleck all playing their part in a classic day. The stage was again to appear in the 2015 tour only to be replaced last minute. In 2011 it was also the stage used for a very warm Etape du Tour!

The second of our classic stages revisits the scene of stage 19 of the 2015 Tour de France. Starting from Saint Jean de Maurienne you’ll climb the Col du Chaussy, Glandon (Croix de la Fer also), Col du Mollard before finally heading up the final climb of the day to La Toussuire.
