Accommodation

Offering 10 en suite bedrooms for a max of 28 (4 doubles,2 twins or doubles and 4 family rooms), the excellent Chalet Hotel Caribou is one of those options you might miss, but it would be a shame if you do.Very well located in the prettier part of Alpe d’Huez and an easy walk to the centre, this chalet hotel is 50m from the “bucket lift” which takes you up to the village and ski school and 50m the other way to another lift taking you to the higher part of Alpe d’Huez.

The bedrooms are decnt enough with good bathrooms, but the property boasts an excellent bar and lounge area with a big flat screen TV and an excellent restaurant offering rather good food. Its really the location, quality of the bar and restaurant and the great food that really sells this…as well as the price.Having been there we do highly recommend this option but more so if you want value for money. For lunch the Caribou Burger and Gourmand desert (compilation of small desert options) is to die for.
