Make the most out of the chance to ride the same roads that the pros will race on, just a few hours before they do.

This trip is based in two fantastic locations, Morzine and Megeve, that will be right in the thick of the action.

You will immerse yourself into the four crucial mountain stages prior to the final day in Paris. These are the stages where the Tour de France will most likely be won and lost.

The accommodations’ locations will allow you to enjoy fantastic riding as well as the incredible atmosphere of stage starts, finishes and everything in between.

Who is this trip aimed at?

This trip will be enjoyed by riders who love the Tour de France and want to get lots of great riding in as well as watching the Tour.

Stronger riders will love the chance to ride every inch of the way and take on all the options. More moderate level riders will have the option of shorter routes on most days.

All riders on this trip should be prepared for 5/6 hours of riding each day. We’d expect the first 2 days of the trip to involve rides of around 120km with around 2500m of climbing.

Subsequent days will vary hugely dependent on the time schedule and road closures associated with the Tour de France. There will always be the opportunity to ride more/less than the ‘standard’ routes indicated below.

Sunday July 17th

  • Collection from Geneva airport (please contact us for best arrival times) and transfer (approx 1 hour 20 mins) to luxury chalet near Morzine. Plenty of time to make up bikes before briefing and dinner.

Monday July 18th

  • Local ride in the Morzine area with possible climbs including Col de l’Encrenaz, Col de la Ramaz, Col de Joux Plane and the climb to Avoriaz.

Thursday July 21st

  • Right on our doorstep, the time trial from Sallanches to Megeve will be the focal point of the day. You’ll have the opportunity to ride the course early in the morning followed by settling down to watch the pros with a choice of ringside seats!

Friday July 22nd

  • Today the pros will ride the stage from Albertville to St Gervais. You’ll again be in a prime position to ride major sections of the course before the pros. Col de la Forclaz, Bisanne and the final summit finish above St Gervais will all keep you very busy today.

Saturday July 23rd
