Service

The Barousse area of the central French Pyrenees is a great base from which to tackle so many of the high mountain cols that feature on the Tour de France. From your apartment base near Saint Beat and Luchon you can tackle the Col de Menté, Col du Portillon, Peyresourde, Port de Bales, Col d’Aspin as well as ride hundreds of kilometres on quiet country lanes in the undulating foothills.

For your road cycling holiday in the Pyrenees we can arrange airport transfers from Toulouse, top end Willier carbon road bike hire, vehicle and mechanical support, route advice, maps and GPS tracks. Let us know your requirements and we will out a complete package together for you.

Accommodation

The hayloft apartment

The hayloft apartment is on the upper floor of the charming converted barn and has 2 spacious bedrooms, both with en suite shower, washbasin and WC. The smaller bedroom has 2 single beds whilst the impressive larger bedroom has 2 double beds. The open plan kitchen/living/dining area is a wonderful space in which to relax in the evening.

There is also a small garden area to the rear of the barn in which you can have a barbecue and relax on the garden furniture in the welcome shade. This space is shared with a ground floor apartment which accommodates 4 people.

Location

Nestled on the edge of the little village of Ore at the foot of the Col des Ares, the accommodation is in a great location for all activities. Luchon is just 15 minutes away and the Spanish border only 20 minutes - think tapas, sangria, cheap olive oil and cheap fuel!
