Service

Services

Support is provided by our driver and minibus, fully fitted out for carrying bikes along with a wide range of spares and any extra clothing or equipment you may want to bring with you. We provide a picnic lunch and refreshments along the route. The minibus is never more than a few minutes away at any point during the day giving constant access to extra clothes and refreshments whenever needed so you never have to worry about carrying too much gear or water.

We will also have someone riding alongside you to ensure everything runs smoothly and your needs are catered for. We also ensure that on the supported ride there will be at least one qualified bike mechanic and first aider.

Point to point rides allow us to travel significantly further than a local loop, giving you the best chance to see what the Alps have to offer and easy access to many of the famous Tour de France climbs.

We always ensure we have enough seats in the support van to make sure that should we encounter bad weather we can easily get everyone back to morzine, unlike other larger tour firms.

Accommodation

The Farmhouse

During your stay you will experience a uniquely personal and informal atmosphere. We have been welcoming and re-welcoming guests to The Farmhouse for over 20 years now. We provide a highly polished service in this friendly and fun dwelling in which guests can make themselves at home. If you are looking for restaurants in Morzine, The Farmhouse Restaurant is open to all; current guests, past guests that have gone on to buy their own chalets and friends. The bar itself is the heart of the building and was used as the kitchen in days gone by with the kitchen staff cooking family meals over the large open fireplace. The impressive slate floor is covered with comfortable furniture in front of the fire so that you can relax after a hard day on the mountain.

Rooms

The Farmhouse has 11 bedrooms in total. The Corner Room, Blue Room, Family Suite (comprising two adjoining rooms), Old Kitchen, India, The Grange and Cell are located in the main house. The cottages are situated in the Barn as well as the Atelier. The Mazot stands independently in the garden. The rooms within the main house and the Atelier can accommodate a child’s cot but not the Cottages or the Mazot. We have cots here for your use, along with childrens’ bed linen. Our linen is 100% cotton and we have a selection of synthetic and down pillows and duvets where allergies are an issue. Towels are changed mid-week and bath robes are provided. L’Occitane bathroom products are provided for your use in each room.

  • The Corner Room This spacious king size bedroom with en suite bathroom was quite possibly one of the original bedrooms in the main Farmhouse building. It is ideal for a couple or a family as it can comfortably sleep up to four people with two children in bunk beds.

  • The Blue Room This stunning room with a king size bed is often booked for honeymoons and romantic stays. It has an en suite Victorian style bathroom and overlooks the old town square. The Blue room is large enough to have an extra single or bunk beds added.

  • The Family Suite These beautiful rooms were some of the original bedrooms in the main building. This suite comprises two adjoining bedrooms with a shared en suite bathroom. They are arranged as one king size double and one twin room but can sleep up to 7 guests.

  • The Old Kitchen This bright room in the main building has a king size bed and a very sunny disposition. It has a Victorian style en-suite bathroom with plenty of character. The Old Kitchen can be arranged as a double, twin, triple or bunk room.

  • The Grange This stunning en suite room was completed in December 2011. It is a very spacious king size double room with a sumptuous carpet and a balcony over looking the garden. This room can be arranged as a double, twin, triple or bunk room.

  • India Situated in the main building this lovely king size en suite room with a garden balcony was created in November 2011. It was inspired by a visit made to India in the same year. This can be arranged as a double, twin, triple or bunk room.

The window faces out onto the garden and the old water trough. It was once the town’s only Prison Cell! This room in the main building can be arranged as a twin or double.

  • The Atelier This spectacular double room in our beautiful garden was originally a carpenter’s workshop full of lovely old wooden tools and a traditional workbench which now serves as the breakfast buffet table! This room can also comfortably have a single bed or bunk beds added.

  • Cottage 1 Situated in the Farmhouse garden, Cottage 1 is a cosy double with en suite shower room. In summer, guests staying in this room can languish lazily just outside in the sun and enjoy morning tea or an evening aperitif at the garden table. This is a double-bed only room.

  • Cottage 2 One of the most popular rooms in the garden with old pine beams and a double aspect, this sunny room faces towards the Mazot and the water trough with direct access onto the lawn.

  • The Mazot Set in the far corner of the garden this double room offers complete privacy in a perfectly romantic setting. The en suite shower room is tastefully designed in slate colours and chrome. This is a double bed only room with a small mezzanine level suitable for a child.
