Casa Alfredino is located in Col di Rocca, a small village with good local amenities in the picturesque narrow Val Pettorina only a few kilometres south of the highest mountain in the Dolomites- ‘Marmolada ‘ (3265m), and within walking distance of the stunning Sottoguda Gorge.

Val Pettorina is centrally located in the Dolomites in the province of Belluno, 150km due north of Venice. The closest airports are Venice Treviso (140km/ 2 hour transfer time), Venice Marco Polo (153km/ 2h 10) and Innsbruck (165km/ 2h 45). Other airports include Verona (225km/ 3h) and Brescia (260km/ 3h 30).

Car hire is recommended to allow easy access to the beautiful surrounding mountains but bus services and a train line run from Venice to Belluno- the capital city of the province, from where a bus can be taken to The Pettorina Valley which is well served by buses all year round.
