Giro Dolomiti

In addition to ‘The Big Three’ climbs, Passo Stelvio, Passo Gavia & Passo Mortirolo, we’ll also visit Bormio & St Moritz, skirt Lake Como and climb to the legendary cyclists’ chapel at Madonna di Ghisallo.

This is your turn to make your own history. Ahead of you lie the iconic climbs of Passo Stelvio, Passo Gavia & Passo Mortirolo. Long, steep and leg-sapping, simply summiting can create memories to last a lifetime. Over a 7-night itinerary you’ll have the opportunity to ride through breathtaking scenery in a region which lives and breathes the Giro d’Italia.

Price Includes:

  • Airport transfers at specified times which will be agreed with you at the time of booking
  • 7 nights twin-room accommodation in 3-star hotels
  • 7 breakfasts
  • 6 evening meals
  • Support vehicle on all rides.

Single supplement is available at an additional cost of £300 if notified to us at the time of booking.

  • Food consumed at lunch/cafe stops
  • Alcohol & soft drinks consumed at hotels

  • Travel insurance or other incidental expenses.


Day 1 - (27th July trip)

Arrive to Milan (a.m.), Malpensa airport. Rendezvous with PyrActif staff.

Day 1 - (3rd August trip)

Minibus transfer to Como (p.m.). Warm-up ride alongside Lake Como to our overnight hotel in the beautiful town of Bellaggio.

Days 2 & 3

After a short ferry ride across the lake, we’ll then spend two days ridng via the town of Chiavenna and the passes of Spluga, Maloja, Bernina & Foscagno to arrive to the iconic mountain town of Bormio. .

Day 4

Your opportunity to climb the legendary Passo Stelvio (2760m). We’ll ascend first from the Bormio side & then if you’re feeling strong you can descend to Prato di Stelvio and tackle the other side of this most historic of Italian climbs.

Day 5

Rider’s Choice / rest day

Day 6

Looped ride out of Bormio to tackle the super-challenging Mortirolo and the less steep, but still intimidating Passo Gavia.

Day 7

Minibus transfer back towards Lake Como, followed by the ascents to the cyclists’ chapel at Madonna di Ghisallo and the steep ‘killer climb’ of the Giro Lombardia, the Muro di Sormano. We’ll then drive back to a hotel close to Milan, Malpensa airport. Arrival time at the airport will be around 6 p.m., so you can choose a late evening flight or be conveniently located on-site for morning departures the next day.

Day 8

A.M. optional airport transfer to Milan, Malpensa.


You will be provided excellent twin-room accommodation for 7 nights in 3-star hotels along the way.
