Day 1: Kayaking from Nidri to Thilia and Meganisi

Our journey begins at cosmopolitan Nidri @10.00am, after we get to know each other, our guide will brief us on sea kayaking and safety principles, we will then prepare our equipment and we are ready for departure. We paddle in the archipelago on the southeast coast of Lefkada in the crystal clear blue waters exploring the bays until we reach Desimi and the two caves where we will enjoy our snack, and a swim. After some rest we continue paddling close to the coast of Lefkada and we set sail for the sea cave near Rouda bay renowned for the blue cave with the impressive entrance that is well hidden among the rocks. Having enjoyed another dive in the blue waters we leave behind Lefkada and continue towards lovely Meganisi and the beach of Ag.Ioannis. It’s time to relax now and prepare our evening bbq which we will enjoy under the starlight.

Day 2: Kayaking from Meganisi to Skorpios, Madouri and Nidri

Our day begins with a swim and a mighty breakfast! We are ready to start our sea kayaking discovery by first visiting the uninhabited island of Thilia. We then head in one of the two ports of Meganissi, Spilia, where we will make a stop to visitl Spartochori, enjoy the magnificent views, stroll in the alleys and enjoy a coffee in a traditional greek café. We are leaving Meganisi and continue to the famous island Scorpio formerly owned by the Greek tycoon Onasis. Our last visit is to the islet of the renowned poet Valaoritis where we will have our last meal and swim before we return to Nidri.

7 hours/13km of kayaking

Please Note

All our adventures take place in wild places. Things can go wrong in wild places. Your perfectly planned itinerary may change a bit (or a lot) if the weather turns, someone gets hurt, or a volcano erupts. Usually though, changes make it all the better.

You will be wild camping on the beach on the island of Meganisi. Your host will provide tents, sleeping mats, and all other basic camping equipment except for a sleeping bag. The beach can be breezy at night; bring a warm layer so you can stay up and do some stargazing!

The Ionian Islands are chain of islands off the west coast of Greece that include Corfu and Ithaca. The islands are famous for their laid back vibe, beautiful beaches, green forests, and sparkling blue coves.

This tour focuses on the group of smaller islands known as the Prigiponisia, or "Prince Islands", including Lefkada, home to the famous beach Porto Katsiki. The islands feature in a number of Greek myths and histories, including the Odyssey, the Peloponnesian War, and several stories related to Aphrodite, the goddess of love. The islands are close together, allowing for easy kayaking access, but are remote and small enough that you'll practically have them to yourself!
