The Food

There is discount for vegetarians and can cater for gluten-free and other special diets.

Breakfast is a self-service buffet with a choice of tea, coffee or herbal tea, fresh fruit, bread, jams and fruit juice, a selection of cereals and a daily changing cooked dish.

Delicious home made afternoon cake or biscuits will be served upon your return from the slopes each day.

Each evening you’ll enjoy a 3 course meal served with good quality bottled house wines from traditional producers in the Rhone valley. Menus vary depending on the season and the cook’s fancy. Early 2 course meals are available for children if required.

  • Spinach and pea gnocchi, burnt butter sauce and crispy sage
  • Wild salmon wrapped in organic ham on a bed of spiced lentils

Your Hosts

Sam and Alvarno are an English-Spanish couple who first ventured to the Paradiski in 2002 to run a ski chalet together. They fell in love with the mountains and never left. These days they’re based year-round in the mountains and offer a relaxing but fun break.

Chalet Layout

Located on the top floor of an original alpine farmhouse, the chalet has its own entrance on the ground floor at the rear, and is accessed via a flight of internal wooden stairs.

There are 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 8 (or 10 if children), an infrared sauna, heated ski store and 2 bathrooms. The mezzanine bedroom also works well as a play area, games room or chill out space.

  • Double/twin room (beds 80x200cm) with mountain views
  • Family room with double bed (140x200cm) and hand crafted wooden alcove bunk beds (top bunk not suitable for children under 8)
  • Large mezzanine with lots of floor space and two cabin-style single beds built in under the eaves. This room can take two additional children’s beds

  • Storage
  • The personal touch from your lovely hosts

The chalet is in the top part of Montvilliers (1100m), a tiny unspoilt hamlet tucked away on the mountainside under the ski resort of Plagne Montalbert (one of the La Plagne ski villages). Montalbert’s gondola is a quick 5 minute drive in our chalet shuttle (for catered guests only). You can also ski back along off-piste forest tracks.

What transfers are included?
